Television

Television is a very strange devise designed by Humans. It serves many purposes. It is a good idea as far as transmission of information is concerned, combining visuals and sounds is perfect for media presentations, news, etc.

However Humans see it as a way to syncronize their own cultures, so that people don't have to bother doing anything constructive, having fun or keeping fit. It is also useful in preventing Humans from communicating with each other too much, which nearly always results in arguements because Humans lack the best communicative devises, intelligence and tails.

Squirrels scent mark certain trees.

New squirrels are instantly "not recognized" and warned to move on, but a squirrel will recognize its neighbours and usually not bother them. Only strange squirrels are ever attacked.

Theology


Theology is the Human word for the study of religion and gods. Frequently when presented with evidence of The Great Squirrel they are so confused they start inventing their own religions and philosophies.

The closest that Humans have ever came to realizing the truth is in Eastern schools of thought such as Taoism, and some weaker Western movements such as Pantheism.

Squirrel Theology is derived directly from absolute truth via the fluff, which is made available to all living beings (except Human Beings) by The Great Squirrel.

Totem Animals

A totem animal is an animal that gives strength, willpower, productivity, well being and balance to its believer.

There are two general types of believer;

  1. Those who believe totem animals are guiding sprits
  2. Those who are inspired by the 'image' of an animal

Human Beings once had a strong culture which included much appreciation of totem animals; and they were at one with their envrionment and had remained stable for a long time. However, they were all killed.

Recently a new subculture, Furry, is in the process of reviving this concept. Whilst native American religions were primarily of type 1 (above), Furry Lifestylers are generaly (but not all) type 2.

There is a lot that can be learned from the animal world. If Humans embraced and appreciated animals more, we would see less violence and stupidity.

The most frequent totem animals within Furry are cats, Big Cats and foxes. Vexen is of course an appreciator of squirrels.

Quiet trill or squeek

If captive Squirrels (ie, Squirrels who are performing experiments on Humans) are placed together, they make a quiet squeeking noise or trill. It's not aggressive, but the meaning is unknown.

Generally this term is used by cats to describe the Tree Squirrel not due to its feeding methods but because whilst cats are in trees, stuck, Wiggies will take the chance to pesky them by nibbling their tails.
