Nibble

Wiggies jaws have two modes; they can lock either backwards or forwards. The backwards lock is for larger, powerful bites, but the front lock is for nibbling and precision work.

Nibbling can be done nicely, playfully, or in the form of a potentially sharp nip.

Nipping

A Wiggy will nip something for various reasons, and in various ways. If the Wiggy is actually scared for its well being, it will do a wide nip, engaging its jaws in strong mode (as opposed to nibbling). A Squirrel can deliver a strong and piercing bite, and can frequently fend off cats and other would-be predators. The Wiggy will then, most likely, wait for RoboSquirrel to arrive and tell the predator off.

Nipping can also occur during play, but this is generally normally a nibble than a nip.

Play nipping
If a Wiggy is facing you, shaking its head from side to side, making nipping motions and squeaking then it is definately only playing with you. If you wind a Wiggy up and it knows you are joking, play nipping is frequently the outcome. Squeeking is indicitive of non-violent intent.

Play nipping is frequently used as a warning that unless you change your current behaviour, you will be tickled.

Nuggling

Nuggling means "snuggling", which means laying around and hugging/being close to someone else.

In front of Human Beings, Wiggies rarely nuggle, as we wish to keep up our evil image.

But in private, especially on Cold nights, Wiggies will climb into each other's nests and nuggle.
