Haunted Murderer

Occurred: 2001 May 17

At the top of the stairs in a house (not Mauhaus where I live) I had just hit someone with a heavy hammer. The dream started with regret that that had happened. I pushed the person away from me, and pushed him (accidentally) through a window, he fell into the world outside. It was night time, there were a few really tall trees, very skeleton-august and bleak trees.

I went into a room somewhere, it was a small rectangular room, quite long. There was a set of bright red plastic storage shelves. The only furniture in the room. No other doors or window. I positioned a bowl of fruit on the bottom shelf, it just had three or four apples in it. The apples were green and the bowl was bright blue.

Suddenly I realized that the person I had killed with the hammer and pushed out of the window was Ia'Kat, my long term friend and housemate. I felt scared and stood up. Ia'Kat appeared, as a ghost, faintly. I was relieved that he was there to talk to and hug... but also nervous of what he thought of me killing him.

Then, he disappeared. I suddenly became cold and very scared, and found myself consciously wishing the dream would end. A fruit from the bowl I had positioned rose into the air, it was going to be thrown at me from short range by the now invisible ghost of Ia'Kat. It was going to hurt and bruise... but I woke up then.

After waking I realised I was sleeping alone (which I'm not used to), some fear remained from the dream. It was 5am. I went back to sleep.
